The video presents a fixed shot of a waterfall whose water appears to flow in a continuous movement. Gradually, the movement slows down until it tends towards stillness, without ever coming to a complete stop. At the same time, the white noise of the waterfall stretches and transforms.

A sound work based on the Shepard-Risset effect creates the illusion of an infinite descent: the sound seems to fall endlessly, without ever reaching a bottom.

This repetition creates an almost hypnotic experience. The gaze becomes fixed, the listening extends, and the viewer gradually finds themselves immersed in a suspended temporality. The waterfall thus remains balanced between movement and stillness, between continuity and cessation, as if time itself had come to a standstill.
