The OVNi SUD Émergences Prize reaffirms the Biennale’s commitment to regional contemporary art. Dedicated to emerging artists residing in the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Occitanie, and Monaco regions, it serves as a concrete springboard for emerging artistic practices rooted in a territory at the crossroads of Mediterranean and European cultures.
Supported by the Cercle des Amis d’OVNi, the Prize includes a grant of 2,000 euros, along with a writing and creative residency, offering the winner a unique setting to deepen and develop their artistic project. The OVNi SUD Émergences Award ceremony will be held jointly with that of the Cosmopolis Award during the Biennale’s closing night on November 28, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception bringing together all the Biennale’s artists.
