Guillaume Dustan (1965-2005), a subversive and controversial high-ranking civil servant, writer, editor and video maker, died at the age of 39 of a drug overdose linked to an overuse of drugs designed to counter the effects of HIV. A lover of Duras and American literature, Dustan practiced raw self-fiction where his life, loves and sexual experiences become political material. Alongside his literary work, Guillaume Dustan has kept a filmed diary in which his tone and universe can be found. The video « montre T lèvres » (2004, 20’48 »), one of the last ones he made.
