Pauline Bastard – Building family ties 

Four people, who originally do not know each other, spend a week’s holiday together, every year, for as long as possible.
The project is conceived as a space for collective thinking about each other’s place, a dialogue between the visions of the members of this composite family: how is a family built? Can we produce the relationships that unite the different members? Is it possible, by simulating family life, to generate real relationships between people? Does the indefinite duration of the project allow for the creation of real intimacy?
