OVNi Online

OVNi Online is a new platform, an interactive experience inspired by CD ROM games that takes you through previous editions. As innovative as it is nostalgic, this interface brings together the work of several artists featured in previous editions. Short works, video excerpts and 360° images reveal the dynamics of OVNi wandering in real space, an original project created by Lili Benente in collaboration with Kenny Briolotta. Visitors are invited to take a virtual stroll through the various venues in Nice taking part in the festival.

While OVNi Online enhances the value of the festival through the quality of its presentation, and stimulates interest in further participants in subsequent years, it is also a means of constructing a new proposition that frees itself from reality, a new creation in its own right that presents the work of video artists over a finite period of time.

In particular, OVNi Online enables us to build up a database of images, videos and installations produced especially for the festival. As installations are ephemeral, it is all the more important to preserve a trace of these works, which is an essential objective in the long term.
