The OVNi SUD Emergences Prize reflects the Biennale’s commitment to supporting contemporary regional creation. Dedicated to emerging artists based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur and Occitanie regions, as well as Monaco, it serves as a concrete springboard for evolving artistic practices rooted in a territory at the crossroads of Mediterranean and European cultures.

Supported by the Cercle des Amis d’OVNi, the Prize includes a grant of 2,000 euros along with a writing and creation residency, offering the winner a privileged setting in which to deepen and develop their artistic project. The OVNi SUD Émergences Prize will be awarded alongside the Prix Cosmopolis during the Biennale’s closing evening on 29 November 2026 at 8pm, followed by a dinner cocktail bringing together all of the Biennale’s artists.
