Helene Delprat is an exceptional visual artist and a major figure on the contemporary art scene, works in painting, drawing, photography, radio and video. She likes to quote Fischli & Weiss, Joan Jonas, Mike Kelly, Paul Mac Carthy, Beuys, Barnett Newman… In her studio, she creates video moments where she experiments with the body under the influence, she says, of cinema and B-movies.

The artist is an illustrious exponent of the concept of ‘serio ludere’, a term dating back to the Renaissance and meaning ‘to play seriously’, in which imagery is worked with a certain sense of the comic and the absurd.

Her extraordinary artistic vision feeds this « Grand Jeu » (The Great Game) and this new edition with a rich and vibrant imaginary.
