Arrive on your own at the WindsoR hotel.
Available transport:
If arriving at the airport: take the Tram 2 – Direction Port Lympia, get off at the « Alsace Lorraine » stop, then walk 5 minutes.
If arriving at Nice train station: walk about 15 minutes.

Join us at 1:20pm at the Hotel WindsoR to discover a new art center nearby, La Gaya Scienza. Curator Mathilde Roman will present the video installation « Every Sunday, Grandma » (shown for the first timein France) by Laura Prouvost (Turner Prize 2013) as part of the exhibition « Faire, Nager, s’envoler ».

Everyone can leave from 109 and return to the hotel (WindsoR or another) at the desired time by public transport:

– Walk 10 min, take Bus 08 at the « Passerelle des abattoirs » stop in the direction of « Las Planas / Sappia » and get off at the « Congrès Promenade » stop, then walk 10 min

(last bus at 11:50 p.m.).
or
– Walk 20 min, take tramway 1 to the « Vauban » stop in the direction of « Henri Sappia » and get off at the « Masséna » stop, then walk 10 min

(last streetcar at 01:20)

DAY 2 – 11.18

9:30am – Hôtel WindsoR : departure by bus to the Grotte du Lazaret, to meet Justine Emard whose immersive installation in a new version for OVNi plunges us into a history of image creation from paleontological surveys to AI processing. The artist has been selectef to represent the French Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka World Exhibition.

10:30am – Departure for the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild: visit with artist Stéphanie Solinas of her installation « Le Soleil ni la mort » from the series.

Snack and visit to the gardens.

1:30pm – Departure for the Chapelle du Centre Culturel La Providence: presentation by Ugo Arsac of his digital imaginary with his installation « In Urbe ».

2:30pm – Departure for Biot, for an activation of Le Balai Mécanique, Pierrick Sorin’s original work for the Musée Fernand Léger de Biot in Biot, combining installation, theatrical scenography, sculptures, holograms, video and magic boxes, mischievously revisiting 19th-century dioramas.

4:15pm – Departure for Carros and its medieval castle, home to the CIAC: Giulia Grossmann invites us to think of the Earth as a reflection of the Sky.

Return to Nice via the airport from 5:30pm, following this weekend of multiple discoveries.
