109 - Centre for Contemporary Arts

Once the site of Nice’s municipal slaughterhouses, Le 109 is today a major hub dedicated to contemporary creation.

Located in the eastern part of the city, this vast rehabilitated industrial complex is home to artists, cultural organisations, workshops, exhibition spaces, and events open to the public.

Le 109 is defined by its raw architecture, monumental scale, and capacity to host a wide range of artistic forms — visual arts, performance, video, installation, music, dance, and experimental practices.

At once a place of production, dissemination, and encounter, Le 109 plays an active role in the cultural vitality of Nice and the Côte d’Azur.
